FIX THE ISSUES!!!!!!!

Just bought Borderlands 2 and decided to play GOTY while it downloads. Starts up normal, get to the main menu and its stuck looks normal but the keyboard is unresponsive cannot force close hide or switch to windowed mode. The mouse moves but is completely useless. Ended up holding the power button down after spending 20 min trying every possible method to avoid a hard shutdown, hard shut downs CAUSE DAMAGE.

NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!
Considering asking for a refund.
Regardless I will never buy from Feral Interactive LTD again.
