Great game with a big blemish

Theres no denying that Borderlands is an awesome game. I purchased it on PC a while ago, but bought it again for Mac for the DLC. It looks great, its a lot of fun and there isnt a better fps for loot lovers. This ports only issue has nothing to do with the game itself, but rather that Ferrel Interactive uses GameRanger for its online play. GameRanger runs outside of the Borderlands App and the basic free account doesnt let you use voice chat; you have to pay an extra $20 a year for that. Being forced to pay extra for a feature that is so common in other games feels unfair. A co-op based game like Borderlands really benefits from being able to communicate easily with your teammates. Again, this isnt a fault of the game itself, mearly this port. Its still worth it, the game really is great, but it did sting when I found out after buying it.
