My Impressions of the Port

First of all, be warned that this port doesnt run as a single app. When you click to open it, it launches two disks on your desktop to run the game off of. I found that quiet annoying and somewhat of a time consuming eye soar.

Secondly, for being a mac port thats downloaded off the Mac App Store.. it doesnt run very well. I have a mid 2010 macbook pro and everything has to be set to medium setting the dynamic shadowing off. Even then it doesnt seem all that impressive framerate wise.

The most annoying thing about this game is getting into an online game. To do so, you have to download a seperate application called "Gameranger" and actually choose a server off if it! Then you have to watch the game start up all over again and load through everything you just sat though.

Not the best port. Apple should patch this up, make the online servers available from in game, and get rid of those annoying icons off my desktop.
