this game truly excells in many ways, even though the 2nd one is already out and on the app store, this is still a must buy because its is great and at a superb price of 14.99. i did figure out the multiplayer and it is very fun when you get it working (took me about 20 minutes) i would only recommend the multyplayer if you have friends that also play this game because a lot of the servers are friends only and you need their password. luckily i have a few friends for me to explore the world of Pandora with. I have encountered a bit of lag on multyplayer but thsat was because my friend has a kinda crappy connection. I have an late 2012 to early 2013 mac book Pro and the game is very smooth and exillerating. i can not wait to spend more time on this game. -Will

Great game, and even better on the Mac! Just wish there was Game Center support with achievements.

My Machine; 27" iMac 3.4 GHZ Intel i7 8 GB RAM Mountain Lion I was a little hesitant buying this game at first as the graphics were not "high end" and super detailed, but I was WRONG! Even though the overall experience is more "cartoon" like it does not take away from the game experience itself, quite the opposite actually. Had a great time with this game and Im looking forward to playing the second version soon. D.

Overall, borderlands is probably one of the best games I have ever played. Although the way you play multiplayer through this game is very frustrating. If you are looking to play multiplayer a lot, go buy the console version.

well, i am runnung a macbook in version 10.6.8 with 1.83 GHz intel core duo and when i try to download the app it says it cant because of the wifi..I checked the connection and its fine so if anyone has any idea howthis is happening please submit a review saying why!!!

When i click the icon on my dock or in the apps folder, it bounces once then stops. It doesnt launch for me. PLEASE HELP :D

Gotta be honest, I didn’t think the game was that good. I thought the first player shooting was poorly done & the game, overall, couldn’t keep me entertained. I stopped playing less than half way through. It seemed fun at first, but I definitely didn’t think it was worth the money I spent.

I am sure that this game is great for other people, however even though my computor meets the requirements it just will not load properly. half of the detail is missing from the game when playing, thus making it impossible for me to get any farther than the part where claptrap meets the hero from the bus. please refund my money. i will not be using my Mac for gaming any more. utterly dissapointed in what would have been an awesome christmass present

So choppy, I cant play without getting a headache. I have Borderlands 2 and it has never given me a problem. For some reason the problem didnt start until 10 levels in and from what Ive seen on message boards, half the borderlands community cannott solve this issue even after changing video cards. I want my money back!

Terrible game. No idea why it has such high reviews. In game visuals are nothing like the screenshots. Game is very visually unappealing. Entire landscape and everything in the game is made up of various shades of gray and brown. Not one likeable character in the game. Can get lonely.

I am going to keep this short and simple: this game is AMAZING!! I was a little hesitant at first because I was not really sure if it was going to run on my new Macbook Air. However, it runs perfectly on it! I am using a MacBook Air, 13-inch (2013), 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB, Intel HD Graphics 5000 and the game runs very well on it. This game does drain through your battery quickly though.

Why I put off playing this game for as long as I did, I’ll never know. I got sucked in by the sale and am very glad I did! If you’re on the fence as I was, don’t wait any longer to get this gem.

I bought this game when it was on sale. The full GOTY edition for only $6. Well worth it. I thought, why not, this is a seldom chance to buy it at such a unique price. I have played Border lands 2 on my console and completed the game 4 times. Border lands one is without a doubt still enjoyable and I must say, DO EVERY MISSION. The point is not to simply finish the game but to enjoy completing missions that are unique, expose you to new bosses and characters while emmersing yourself in a playground so big its always new when you get on. What makes the game even more enjoyable: Once you complete your first character to 69 while finishing at least one more difficulty after your first play through is being able to play another character. Though you are playing the game again with exact story line and characters you experience different combat which in totality effect your whole gameplay. The ONLY concern: MOD for each character specialization do not effect the skils. I have a Catalyst MOD for my Siren. However, the 2+GIRL POWER does not show up in the skill tree even after adding 3 skill points to this specific skill. PLEASE FIX THIS: If this is normal than please tell me. I am unable to account for the buffs my MOD give me because they do not show an increase. FOR EXAMPLE: 3/5 GIRL POWER With MOD it should be 6/5 GIRL POWER. This is not shown.

I’m still playing through it, but I played the sequel before I bought this game. I thought I’d give this game a shot since this game led to the second obviously… Well, it’s obvious how the second game was so great. This game is great as well. I look forward to the third installment in the series and will be getting it for console since I’m a little new to computer gaming… and I like the console community.

This game one of my favorite games and on Mac mini Late (2012) i7 4GB RAM with Thunderbolt display (2560x1440) and with Maximum settings game runs very slow about 10-15 fps. When I turn off Dynamic Shadows the fps increased ( about 20 fps) Maybe if I install 16 GB of RAM the game will run much better but with current settings and resolution (2560x1440) I can’t normally playing. And in the settings I looking for disable Anti Aliasing but this parameter no in settings. But anyway this game is Great and I will install 16GB of RAM exactly for this game to increase performance a little bit.

The world is huge! Their are literally millions of guns! The enemy AI is great! The multiplayer is actualy as good as the sigle player! GET DIS GAME NOW!!!!!

This game in my opinion is a great game it runs very smooth on my macbook air with only the standard i5. The game play is great and I would highly recommend this game to any one who is looking into buying it .

This is a great game. However, I cannot host a LAN game on Macs running Yosemite OSX. I have a Macbook still running Mavericks and 3 new Macbook’s with Yosemite. I can still host a game on the Mac with Mavericks. When hosting on a Mac with Yosemite, other players can join the lobby, but can’t load into the game - the game times out :( So much for helping out other family members in multiplayer until this gets fixed.
